WHS Marching Band General Info.

Additional fees (students keep these items): Band Jacket-$50, Band Shoes& Gloves-$50, Color Guard- shoes, unitard, gloves - $50. Jackets, shoes and gloves will be ordered separately on Fitting Day.

Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the student to keep their uniform in a neat and presentable condition. Uniforms should be cleaned and returned to the WHS Uniform Room prior to every performance. It is unacceptable to eat or drink anything other than water while in uniform. Band Uniform Cleaning Instructions

Band Camp / Practices

Students may not wear blue jeans to practice.
Students should wear comfortable clothes and shoes, hats and sunscreen.
Students should bring lots of water.
Students need a 3 ring binder with sheet protectors and a dot book (small spiral notebook).
Students should arrive 15 minutes before practice is scheduled to start. Pit should arrive 30 minutes early for set up.
If the student will be absent, please notify Mr. Lortz or Mr. Drake and the section leader.
Your student's section leader may call extra practices for the section. Make every effort to attend these sectional practices.
